Bob McNamara received training in heating, air conditioning and refrigeration in the Navy from 1984-1988. After faithfully serving his country, he worked for local heating and cooling companies in the Rockland County region.
Quickly he identified a gap in the services being provided to his friends and neighbors. In 1993, he decided to satisfy those needs. He started the family owned and operated McNamara Services. He listened intently to his customers along the way and began building one of the most comprehensive lists of services in the industry. His dream was to provide you one expert location for all of your home comfort needs.
Word spread of his excellent dedication to customer satisfaction and his business grew. This allowed him to bring his family closer, as his wife Debbie joined the business full time. With his family close by, he set his sights on everything his customers had been asking for.
He expanded into fireplace and hearth products in 1998. His customers, or as he likes to refer to them, his extended family, were then able to combat heating costs, and add value to their homes with a huge selection of hand picked products evaluated and tested by Bob himself. In 2000, Bob moved McNamara Services into an exquisite 4000 square foot showroom in the heart of Pearl River’s business district.
